    Meeting Physical Needs

Throughout scripture, the Lord emphasizes the importance of caring for those in need (see Matthew 22:36-39), which includes caring for ourselves. When we take care of our physical needs, we can better focus on feeding our spirits and caring for others who are in need.

    Caring for Your Physical Health

Caring for your body is an important part of honoring the gift of life God has given you. While challenges like poverty, body image concerns, or limited access to nutritious food can make this difficult, the Church has resources to help you move forward with faith.

    Supporting Child Nutrition

When children don’t receive the nutrients they need, it can have lasting effects on their health and development. The Church’s Child Nutrition Effort:

    • Connects parents with the resources they need to discover if their child is malnourished.
    • Provides tools, resources, and family-centered support to families with malnourished children.
    • Helps parents create a long-term, sustainable plan for food security.

    Managing Finances

Modern-day prophets have taught us to be wise with our money so we can care for ourselves and others. To help you grow in financial wisdom, the Church offers resources such as:

    • Self-reliance courses
    • Finance guides

    Gaining Employment

Stable employment helps you gain the resources necessary to care for your needs and contribute to your community. With the support of the Church’s Employment Services, you can gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence you need to find a new job or advance in your career.

    Accessing Tools for Disabilities

Access to the right tools and resources can greatly enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities. Whether it’s using accessible formats to fully participate in church worship and scripture study or learning to communicate needs more effectively, these Church resources are designed to empower your daily experience.

    Receiving Support as a Caregiver

Caregivers often experience difficulty balancing personal well-being and long-term care for someone in need. To support, the Church offers resources to help you:

    • Find stability and comfort amid stress.
    • Care for your own mental health.
    • Acquire practical help for your temporal needs.
